Hi all I know this has been covered but thought I would add my pics. There are many ways to do this from fraud 6 gearbox to others. I am going to run standard 5L injected engine and factory t5 box. I got this mustang extension for $40 and $55 postage from the states. So for less than 100 bucks I should be able to move the selector forward by 70mm hopefully coming up in factory hole and not touching factory cross brace.

Fitted the extension today from the mustang to the holden box. Had to cut down the selector shaft and drill for the pin.

But the speedo out is on the wrong side.

The XF extension is on the correct side.

I know but as I need a speedo cable anyway, getting one a bit longer isn't an issue.
