I have 9.5 on the front with 5.5 back space and they clear no problems, seams you could go 4.5 and have the same effect. 5" would be ok, not much dish though.

Are they 15" though bud?, I'm concerned with clearance on the inside.

You tend to run into the top balljoint with a 15” rim and more than 4.5 BS. You might be ok with one of the replacement ball joints with a flat top?

Which rim are you looking at?

Actually Rexy, I have changed my mind. But if I could ask? do you know if a 15x8, 3 3/8" Back space would fill the rear guard and flare. I hate it when the tyres sit way inside a flared torrie, I really want the tyre/rim sitting just inside the edge of the outer flare edge, but I don''t think a 8.5" rim and tyre will do that ???

Running 15x10 with 5" BS, 26-12-15 MT Sportsman SR's, fit nice, bit of clearance to the flare, so I imagine your suggestion will also fit.

My diff is standard length with drums but converted to commodore discs later, so it's probably a small bit over standard length.

I used to have 15 x 10 hotwires on the back of the hatch with 5 inch backspace and “standard” narrow flares (not the extra wide ones).
The diff was slightly shortened (?1” each side) and this put the rim pretty much central in the wheel well. Not a million miles from what you have proposed but only trial fitment would tell for sure.

My Bad, I missed the "FRONT" request  :banghead:

Prolly not much good to you due to the mods, but I'll list it all anyways.

My fronts are quite deep, 15x7, had to modify the centre to be able to weld it in the band, measures very close to 3" back space, tyres are 215-60-15.

Now the mods, HQ Drum Brake Spindles, UPC Hubs with VT Commodore Discs and R32 Calipers. The Pillar is clearanced lots and the camber is aggressive at -2.5Deg to get the tyres off the flare when it hits bumps, also has spaced upper balljoints for additional camber gain, but the tyres still touched until the extra camber was put on the front. Wheels should have been about 1/4" shallower dish at a guess.

Anyways, use that info if any of it is of help.
