I spotted two white Commo's this week, one sedan, one ute with blacked out front and rear badges; they looked as if the badges were sprayed in matt black. Not sure if this is a trend like the de-chroming/de-badging trend of the 80's or if it's some sort of RIP to Holden like a black arm band tribute.

Anyone know what's the go?

I thought it was a fairly old trend now, but i think the vf series 1, did a black series @ the end, which came factory with black badges, they can look alright with black chrome badges, but flat black looks cheap imo.

Ah, those have the honeycomb grille and look factory.

The ones I saw had that standard one with the horizontal stripe, also painted black. They just looked poxy as you could spot it was a rattle can job.

I spotted another one today on a blue ute. It's like when your mate buys a car; you suddenly spot that make of car everywhere.

I guess they're all trying to emulate the LH blacked out grille look.

Remember the song well, funny as f_ck but seriously what's wrong with bogans? They are national treasures I think and no end of entertainment.
Certain classes would consider all of us on here bogans cos we play with Toranas......

Yep and in Sydney we used to be called Westies. Bogans was a Melbourne word, in Brisbane they were known as Bevans.  I also recall an older word which was Aus. wide - yobbo! lol.

I hadn't heard the word Bogan prior to Merrick & Rosso on JJJ, both from Melbourne they popularised the word to the rest of the country with colourful 'call in' segments where listeners would ring up each week to 'dob in a Bogan', etc. it was very funny stuff. They constantly used the word and I believe they're responsible for spreading it Aus. wide.

First time I've ever heard the vernacular 'Bevan' was a Brisbane thing.
