Gday all. I need to move the master cylinder/booster rear wards or outboard about an inch to fit a supercharger. How would I go about this. What are my options?
Cheers.

What size is your current booster? if its a 9" there is 7" and 8"  options. I did this on mine for clearance.

Im not as familular with LC's but if the booster is mounted directly onto the firewall then it will require firewall mods (area cut out and a re-cessed section welded in) also mods the the pedals etc ie big job.

Moving it across would be a smaller job, but also depends on the metal work behind the firewall. if there is nothing in the way its just a matter of redrilling the mounting holes and modifying the pedal a little. but there is usually bracing around the brake booster area which likely be in the way.

If your lucky and the LC's booster is mounted on a bracket on the firewall that is at least 1" high then you can just shorten the bracket and pushrods, might need to clearance around the fender.

Just looked at some LC engine bay pics, looks like the booster is mounted on the firewall and standard is a 9" booster...

Other thing is yours a double diaphragm booster? there is also a single diaphragm one which will give you a inch of extra clearance at the front.

Or can delete the booster entirely and run a remote booster. VH44 is quite common

Great ideas mate. Mine is a 9 inch double diaphragm. I’m thinking of either shortening the bracket or moving the whole kit over. What mods do I need to do to the pedal to move the whole kit. Just bend in the right direction?

If its not too far of a move then yea just modify the pedal by most likely cutting and welding in a new bent section to suit, biggest worry is if there is brackets under the dash in the way?
