Hi all, this is my first post on this site. After reading through many other posts I am trying to find out if anyone has converted column auto (3 speed) to a cable operated setup to suit th700 (4 speed) ??? Is there a column mounted 4 speed gear indicator available from another model holden like hx/z that I can retro fit for my application???

Cheers Daz

Could be easier to convert to floor shift,    may find a 4 speed column shift from a ute    but not HZ /HX

I am really trying to keep the column shifter as the car is very original looking inside and out until bonnet is open. I have researched the "Lokar ACA-1805" kit but feel the main cumn bracket will interfere with exhaust as it is suited to LHD vehicles not RHD

Maybe a Falcon taxi would have something or a truck from the States

Good luck with it, I like the idea of the column shift T700
