I didn't have a torque wrench to tighten the disc rotors to the hub,is it possible to over tighten the bolts ?they are quite tight ,nothing stripped luckily.

Yeah agreed, you'd be doing well to cock them up if you only did it by hand.
No torque wrench? No worries! Lost count of how many times my torque wrench of choice has been a hammer.
