I polished up the voltage regulator today ,what have people done to replace the yellow seal around it? Is it paint or tape?

Yellow PVC electrical tape will do the trick.

I use the correct Polyester tape, looks a bit more original. Expensive and hard to get though. Here's a regulator I've restored recently

There's a roll on eBay now Kev ,think I'll just use the PVC tape ,as I only need about 150 mm.
