Directly below the second last side cover bolt there is a boss in the engine casting with a small plug installed in the hole.
You have to remove that plug and install a red/blue motor dipstick tube.

Edit: The blue motor dipstick tube as used in WB Holden's only.

AFAIK the dipstick tube is the same for Red & Blue 6 (WL Prefix), but I may end up standing corrected.
I simply mentioned red & blue to cover both bases.
If memory serves me correctly, another forum member mentioned a few years ago that new Holden OEM dipstick tubes are NLA?

Ok, I'll correct myself.
WB Blue 6 dipstick tube is different to the Red six tube but either tube should fit the Black 202. Just need the matching dipstick.
There are aftermarket tubes and dipsticks available but how good they are is another question.

Love it. What the cost?

To get the plug out of the dipstick hole? Best way is to punch it back up and out with a long drift or rod but that would require removing the sump.
Probably need to install a screw into the plug to pull it back out but that will require making a hole in the plug which usually means creating swarf which you don't want getting into the engine.

You might be able to pin punch a hole in the plug, then screw a self taper in and extract it that way?
Pin punch would have to be really sharp, like a needle, as not to punch the plug into the sump. No swarf if it works?
