I am curious about it as well.
Also, I am sure that I have seen this picture posted in here a couple of years ago but I can't find it now. Anybody?

Firstly an Opel box was also named an M20, so that causes confusion.
Having said that, I've seen very early 173S GTRs with an Opel from the factory.
I think the 2 were introduced at different times.

173S and GMH M20 4spd were supposed to be introduced together at HQ introduction but obviously it didn't happen as planned.
The Opel M20 continued in 6cyl L.H drive vehicles.

That is correct, but what I mean by 'different times' is a week or 2 either way, depending on the plant.
It is very similar to the introduction of the 186S engine & the Opel M20 in HR. They were both announced on the 18th June 1967, but it appears that the Opel 'box was being fitted on the line a few days before they used up the stocks of 186 X2 engines. I've verified 2 such cars, which had Opels factory-fitted behind X2 engines.
Same here. An Opel M20 behind a 173S is sure to be out there.

Lakeside,
Are you in the market for a genuine lj xu1?
Not at all, wouldn’t pay the money they ask for them.
I seen this car of Facebook and still a little lost on what’s going on.

What is the problem with this LJ XU1 and what is not right?
https://www.carsales.../SSE-AD-5319370
It's a dud.
The JP engine is a dud and the Body ID tag does not belong with the VIN tag and the Compliance plate.
Some or none of those tags may belong to that body shell?
According to 'Torana Tough' the 41X interior trim should have Antique Brown dash and dash pad, steering column, kick trims, carpets and carpet on door trims.
