Cut out a chunk from the inlet side. May restrict airflow but I think the affect will be minimal. What do you guys think?
It is still only 4-5mm to the rail and a bit worried if the engines moves enough during hard acceleration I'll end up breaking something. I'm thinking either leave it and see what it does over time or put a piece of heatproof material to absorb any shock.

5mm isn't a great deal of space, but the left side is the side that moves the most(in the up direction), if you fit a solid mount to the left or a urethane type of mount, instead of rubber it should be ok.

These blowers have more issues the the discharge side more than the intake side.

I like that idea. I'll see what's available. Solid mounts would be my choice.

I haven't used these, http://musclegarage....&product_id=228 , but you seem to be a bit handy & may be able to make something similar. I use a solid mount on the left side & a std rubber on the right which works in my setup.
