Wow wow wow...... apologies if this has been posted elsewhere...

Early this morning, we had the TV on in the background (one of the morning shows), and all of a sudden they were talking about all these amazing Peter Brock cars that were up for sale. As soon as I heard it, I knew it'd be the ex Peter Champion collection.

Lloyds will be taking care of the auction duties..... people are predicting 10 MILLION DOLLARS....

What a shame if the collection is broken up. I'm devastated I never visited the original museum in QLD. Apparently the cars are all being moved to Bathurst NSW for the auction which will take place in September.

If I'm not mistaken - the auction should read something like this (this is the list from The Champions Brock Experience site, not Lloyds - but I assume they're selling the lot):

Race Cars:

Rally Cars:

Road Cars:

Have a read through these:

Road cars were never on display at Dreamworld & are not included in the auction.

One of the best days of my life was at Yeppoon. There was nobody else there and I spent the whole day crawling over and under the cars. (and boat and plane and everything else that was in there.)  I don't know about the ten million dollar remark. Quite a few of the racecars are replicas and have always been advertised as such.
