Hi all, need some advise here if i could,I purchased this master cylinder just over a year ago ,fully reconditioned ,however it's been sitting in a shed and after taking off the cover I found moisture in the unit,I was hoping I could just bolt it on ,but now I'm not so sure ,any suggestions? Looking at the ports at the end of the arrows, the bottom of them is still shiny and not rust effected. I would say it has a stainless steel sleeve fitted.

The trick to cleaning this up, I reckon, would be to hold it upside down and use brake clean and a scotch brite.
Don't turn it right side up at all until you are happy that it is as clean as you can get it. Keep squirting the brake clean to rinse it as you go.

The aim is to get no rubbish down those tiny ports.

Stick a toothpick in the ports to keep clean
