after some advise please,the standard tacho on the gtr has started to misfunction for some reason,it goes to 500rpm and hardly moves,has been fine for years,i have got the crane-cams hi-6 multi-spark system on the car.i ve droped the dash and had a good look and can,t find any obvious problem,cleaned the fuses too,auto-electrics is not my strong point,thought i,d ask here before i call for help,if i have to send the unit away who knows of a good business,i live in qld,thanks very much for any advise.

So it had been working fine with the crane before?
I had to have a tach adaptor fitted with the crane to make my standard tacho work.
If you already have the adaptor & it was all working fine before then you might be up for a tacho rebuild.
