Hey all. I was prob last on here 10yrs ago; prob longer.
Had a serious back injury that kept me in bed for 4 yrs.
Have since moved from WA to NSW - Snowy Mountains.
Had 2 kids; bought a house, built a shed; bought a business, and generally been time and money poor. Like most.
Anyway i never lost the dream of building my 308 LJ. I kept this beat up 2 door for 16yrs and in the last 6 months have really got stuck in.
I am doing it ALL myself as this has been part of my dream.
From the firewall forward there is one panel; the DS inner fender. I removed the damaged PS side one and promptly found the chassis rail was bent.
I have stripped and rubbed back the entire car by hand; found plenty of rust (nothing terminal though) and plenty of dents. So from the firewall forward it'll be all new Rares panels; I also need to get a DS door skin as the one on It had 2 inches of bog (no exaggeration) we get some kind of discount on here? 
It'll be a few years finishing it.
I just finished hogging out the rear wheel tubs and have some McDonald Bro's mini tubs coming soon.
