Is there a trick to getting the rear bench seat out ? I found the two front positioning screw tabs . Do i need to remove the backs first to get to the rear hold down bolts .

Took mine out the other month, from memory the 2 front screws come out then if you pull the seat forward while pushing down on the rear of each side (about where your bum sits on each side) there is a clip that the seat bottom goes into. I think if you lift the front and look in with a torch you will see how it goes.

Lift up front edge and push backwards and it will pop up then pull it out.

Yeah thats prob it, I couldn't remember if it pulled forward or backwards. There is a hook arrangement that the steel part of the seat hooks onto.

Beautiful find! Not many Toranas in this kind of condition any more. Will look fantastic down a few inches and with some fatter Hotwires.

Appreciate the kind words also.

Mint Julep is a great colour... my first Torana was that colour from the factory and I resprayed it the same, but added a black bonnet. Photographed poorly on older digital cameras, but always awesome in person:

Thanks Heath , your right its about the stance and the look . More research to be done on rim tyre and spring size / settings . Without guard mods would be prefered .
Bit of progress in the last few days . Rebuilt & refitted front brake calipers due to pistons stuck in the bore . New fuel sender arrived from RestoCountry and went in quite easily . Blew all hard lines clean & fitted all new flexi fuel lines . Cleaned complete interior and refitted after a floor inspection . Just a heap of fiddly bits to square away now before the RWC next week .

Passed RWC and registered on Tuesday . Great gift for us on our wedding anniversary . Booked in at Tint Master next week to remove old bubbled tint .

Keen for a drive on the weekend . unsure if photos on this post are visible or not ? Photobucket has a forced update changing the album layout and

process to upload . now that the hatch is on the road I can tackle any little things that need addressing mechanical wise .

lol yeah, not a bad idea to swap to Imgur or some other alternative. Unless you're paying for PB?

But your photos are fortunately working. :)
