Hi all. Just wondering if anyone has a pic of the vapour separator fixed to the underbody and/or a pic of the bracket it fixes to. I have a suspicion that the bracket welded on mine may have been broken at some stage, or I am missing something. It's a bit difficult to see from the parts catalogue. Thanks in advance. Cheers Ron

Hi Ron, I can crawl under my hatch tonight if need be but here is a screen shot of the LX parts manual. it appears to use screws into captive nuts on a bracket underneath somewhere.

Thanks Steve. That makes a lot more sense. I think what I have left of the bracket is just half of the bracket before the captive nuts. Will have to adlib as I'm not going to be doing any more welding on nicely painted underside.Cheers Ron

I'm an idiot. What I thought was the bracket is in fact the bracket that holds the pipes along the back of the tank. The bracket for the vapour canister is the top part of the passenger side bracket for the tank strap, and yes there are captive nuts on it. Thanks again Steve. Cheers Ron
