dropping a 300zx VG30DETT motor into my lc

hello first time posting so i hope this is in the right place 

 

i like to know is it difficult to perform the procedure motor and box and does it have to be engineered.

 

please send info if you or know someone has done it.

The VG30DETT is not a a good choice of engine for engine swap. The VG30DETT is bulky, heavy, hard to work on and expensive to rebuild or modify.

 

It would simpler and cheaper to fit a RB30 or 2JZ.

If your going the Nissan route

Use the VQ series V6... great engine

Definitely this. Particularly when you consider the stock turbo and intake arrangement with the chassis rails.

N/a version been done before with heaps of room...turbo version maybe once on here by forum member?

 

Looked like ton of work with very little room.
