I've looked everywhere on the forum but cannot find the info i'm after.

About to buy new suspension set up for the LX hatch i'm building. Want it to sit nice and low for a tough stance. Would 30mm (Low) springs be good for that or should i go standard height based on the size of the wheels?

Car will run an LS3 so a bit lighter in the front end compared to a 308 but not a huge difference overall.

I was thinking the King Springs package 30mm lower front and rear. The car is flared and i want the flares to sit slightly down past the top of the tyres, definitely no gap between flare and tyre.

But id love to hear from someone who has already been through this running the 18 inch wheels and got a nice stance out of their car and what height and rated spring they used.

Legend mate thanks. I was thinking 30mm low fronts. What coil overs are you running in the rear? I’m currently getting my diff made and was thinking of going coil overs there myself.

I have the King 50mm low springs on mine with LS1, originally had the 30mm lower but it looked to tall so bought another set

I have 16" wheels with 205-55 tyres
Hopefully will have the car out of the garage in next few weeks and see if it looks good with a proper view but height looks good inside the garage

Thanks mate that's interesting as the diameter of a 55 profile 16 inch is almost the same as a 35 profile 18 inch. Based on that width ill assume you don't have flares?

The flare definitely sits lower than the bottom of the original guard so that will make some difference as well.
