This is not a Torana steering setup, but the Bendix-Bishop power steering box for the  HQ, HJ,JX,HZ,WB. I'm giving the box a reco for a ute that I'm building & need to replace all the bearings, seals, the sector shaft are done but the bearing at the input end of the box, between the "worm" and the rotary valve seems to be a bit harder to get at. I have a factory HQ manual, but it only gives basic adjustments & tests.

So does anyone have some more detailed info for this box. Thanks.

I think I found the problem with the "Factory" workshop manual. I have a PDF manual, which on further investigation, is a copy of the Max Ellery book which has the important info left out, so I've ordered a factory manual, Volume 3 which should have the correct info in it, fingers crossed.
