Hi Guys’s
Looking for some info on this plastic bonnet scoop as it has the lip on the rear and all I have seen don’t seem too have the lip!! Cheers f3a219e608d3b188c2e1c291295f4ef8.jpg

No idea on who makes them. However the lip is probably there to stop the back edge sagging like some of the dodgey fibreglass ones do.

Yes that could be it, as it is only plastic with no real guts to it
The flares are plastic too and they flex a lot

I have the same one, in plastic - not sure who made them though, I've had mine for years...

The original A9X ones had folded down lip underneath, that gave the scoop stability, plus they were way thicker than standard aftermarket scoops that always sagged!

I will be shopping for a complete fibre glass set but were to buy is the big question as been reading some posts on the subject and it’s deep!! haha

I have a plastic scoop from rare-spares. It has the lip folded down as per A9X and hasn't sagged. But it was difficult to paint without attracting dust particles, even in a booth. Probably a static electricity thing.
