Hi all,a red motor dipstick has two slots in it and they loop out,so I would assume that that "U" shape in the tube would align with this ,so the U in the tube faces the block ? Is this right?

I'm hoping so Dave ,I've looked in the workshop manual but it shows nothing ,I've seen some motors with the tube facing the other way .
