Hi all, after assembling my rear springs awhile ago I looked in my workshop manual to find they have a bush in the top section peened over to hold the rubber insulator in between two plates where the bolt goes through as pictured,my question is do the buses have to be peened over or can I just sit them in and bolt up ?

No they don't need to be peened over.

Mine are free as i swap springs over to fit the slicks under the back & dont have spare spring tops.
