The large plastic knob on the side to adjust back How to remove please With out breaking preferably Going to buy cheap sockets to grind down to take bolts out. Then remove covers.

According to the parts catalog it comes as one complete assembly so no exploded parts diagram to be found.

 

However I have a vague recollection that the centre cap pops out of the knob and there's a large spring-steel lock-washer in there that you have to turn so the slots line up and then the knob comes off?

 

I just hope I'm thinking of the right seats, I may be remembering Commodore seats (or any one of a hundred other makes/models)!

I think you are correct Andrew the centre of the knob clips out.

Andrew is correct that black or chrome cap just pops out to get to the round springloaded clip. I have just pulled mine apart to get seats recovered .Dale

took a bit of force to get the centre piece out and made some horrible noises

but once out could rotate the clip and plastic knob came off
