Looking for any advice on trying to track down my original 308 from my 74 LH SLR5000.
I have tried a search through the Association of Motoring Clubs but came back with no info of a 308 with correct engine number.
Also tried Vic Roads database to see if any cars are registered with my original motor but no luck.
I know it’s a needle in a haystack search but I will have a go anyway.

Any advice or tips appreciated.

Looking for HT867#

Cheers

Circa May 74 engine number which wont help you find it! Needle in a haystack is an apt description, unfortunately l have no positive suggestions.

Good luck.

If it's HT8672 then I've seen that somewhere in my travels with a cast date of 19D4 as it's on my list.

Unfortunately I don't have anything noted against it as to where I saw it?

Thanks anyway Andrew. It’s a June build so guess engine will be a C/D/E4

Keep on looking for the needle.
