[Swarbs]

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for the correct drivers side engine bay wiring clips (from memory the double up with the washer hose?)

Also where to get them 

I thought Mick from TRP had them but i cant seem to find the right ones  

 

Also if the same supplier can do the harness / hose clips on the firewall be a bonus

There hard to get a hold of as RS don't make the correct size clip.

 

I got a pair off Jimmy Torana from FB. He wrecks Toranas so maybe worth a try.

 

The fire wall clips are readily available.

Hi Ando 

Yeah seen the firewall ones just chasing the wheel arch ones and the correct type 

Suppose i could get the 2nd hand ones  - just have to go through the grief of getting them zinc'd 

Time and more money 

 

Could anyone put up a pic of the correct type?

On my white hatch, I just cleaned & painted them black. see pics

 

I got my other 2 pair zinc plated for the gold & blue cars.

Wrong size Brad. There too small. I've been down that path before.

They have the same style clips listed for Valiant as well 

Seems to be a big difference with the ones pictured above

 

Still haven't raided the bikkie tins so will have a look tonight

Does anyone know if they are making these clips yet? I haven't found any repo ones that are the same, the Rares and Resto ones as mentioned before are too small. Picture below shows original compared to the Rare spares ones

Where do those crazy coconut ones go?

I got some used clips from forum member neglectedtorana. I gave them a polish and treated them with gun bluing solution which mimics the original finish.

are you referring to black ones in the second photo?

Where do you get "coconut" from?

Yeah that last cray cray looking ones.

I found those and tried to use them for the loom and washer hose above the booster on the firewall.

I couldn't get them to fix onto the lip above the booster, then I was luke enough to find the right ones, which are the gold clips.

If you’ve got 2 spare that go on the guard I’ll take them , those are the 2 I can’t seem to find anywhere and both mine as you can see in the picture the little tab is broken off

Had a closer look and those 2 guard clips in your photo look like the ones from Rares that are too small

Brett,

those clips hold the washer hose and the wiring loom together.

 

The photo above is of an original Torana.

My clips are the same.

Was going to PM you when they arrived but I’m still waiting , it’s been a fair while but nothing surprises me with Australia post , so I’ll wait a bit more patiently
