Hey Limo
How'd you go with repairing your seats

only the bases needed work, had a spare seat so swapped that base into one and the other has gone to local trimmer to recover.

need to get new backs but haven't decided where to buy yet

My though was you may have been getting the bases re-stitched using the original covers, my drivers seat has some stitching coming apart that I'll be taking it to my local trimmer to maybe re-stitch but more than likely I'll purchase new SS seat covers
Cheers Aaron

Club cruise yesterday so back together so could drive

stripped all the paint and stuff off of the roof and around screen

Attached File  IMAG0809.jpg   106.87K   3 downloads

surprised how soft the roof is moving in with pressure

could easily put nasty dents in it

also lots of tiny rust pits so used conditioner

Attached File  IMAG0814.jpg   78.31K   3 downloads

basically phosphoric acid which reacts with and locks in rust

then etch primer and 2 pak primer filler, will need to be rubbed back and more filler to get

rid of the pock marks from rust pits

Attached File  IMAG0821.jpg   351.97K   4 downloads

bit of double work as windscreen will come out again to paint but I put it back dry so not much time

won't need to clean off sealer

only a week to next event so might do the hatch and hope not too much rust to fix

have a spare so will pick the best and easiest to fix
