Electric handbrake

Wondering if anyone has fitted an electric handbrake from a late model car, or has any info on the wiring side of things and what’s required, considering one as an option on our hatch

Factory ones are a nightmare

But you can buy an aftermarket hotrod style one

Which is just a pull type solenoid attached to a lever on the caliper

yes mounted a vf one on a custom at4 pickup 

removed the electonics and operated it manualy

put a brake light switch on the cables connected to a light 

light on brake on

Thanks for the links, I’ve sent off a couple of enquiries, the car will have to be engineered so might have to stick to an off the shelf option unfortunately.
Bat did you have to modify the unit itself or just do your own wiring?

when you pull out the electonics there are only 2 wires left 

the dodge had to go through engineering also 

i fitted cmplete front and rear suspension from a vf commodore onto the dodge chassie 

with the L98 6lt 

passed all tests
