I've been trying to locate a GMH Lion Badge for the front of my LX. It seems an original Torana Lion badge is worth my left testicle and rare spares don't make a repro badge with the two pins like the Torana one has.

Does anyone know if I can use the single pin badge, for the VH, that rare spares have available?

Trying to find a decent photo that I can enlarge but the two badges are different, the Torana badge has black lettering on a silver background, whereas the Commodore has silver lettering on a black background.

 

I would've thought that a VH Commodore grille would have a much more pronounced "V" shape than a Torana anyway?

Looks like it might be easier to put a Bow Tie on the grille instead.

I have put this item numerous times on the rare spares wish list. Please do the same. I agree 100% I am not willing to spend $200 ona bloody badge. Only a matter of time before somebody repros them.

That guy has a lot of Holden stuff on gumtree. Generally sky high prices. Lately he has been posting negotiable as in this ad.

Isn't that the norm these days when it comes to parts for the old classics?

I noticed others selling LX Lion grille emblems on Gumtree are asking $200 - $250, for used examples .

I suspect Rares haven't bothered to make the LX Lion emblem as almost everyone wants the SS emblem.
