L34 flare washer colour .

Was wondering what the correct colour the shaped washers and  cap screws  should be that hold the flare kit on an L34 .

The couple that I have seen with original paint had matt black ones, but after 40 years any paint would have that sort of finish. My best guess would be a satin finish similar to the body stripes.

No not yet   , it's still wrapped up in bits in my shed unfortunately . Have since sold another car less motor and kept the  box so l have  a super T10 plus dellow bell housing to go behind it when l get off my backside and build it .
