7/73. There are a number of XU1s with no engine number recorded so it's a lucky dip.

Not a guess sorry, but JP360499 (the closest that I could find) was fitted to a car completed in Adelaide on 6/7/73

My engine with the engine number of JL363... has a cast date of 27f3 and my cars build date is 27/7/73,so the above specs sound about right.

Hmm some one just out bid me,
Good thing Iv got 1 being rebuilt... JP that is ,
Thought about this one as a spare,
Res leave it and go back to standard, got 5 red 202s in the shed in various dismantled parts and 2 complete, being a QL and NL

to someone that needs one it was cheap. expensive for a dirty old 202 block but to someone with a xu1 that needs a JP it will greatly increase there cars value. a great result to the seller and the buyer.
