Hi All.

Long time since I have been on here but I am finally getting some more time to spend on the Torry.

The other week my ignition barrel started spinning full 360 degree's so I decided to pull it down.

My ignition barrel had worn out so i got a new one of them.

When putting it back together ,It appears as if i dont have a steering lock pin and my switch rod is just floating by itself.

I think I found one on eBay but it appears to be square where by coffee pot is round.  I cant find this part on the rare spares website either.

Any ideas?

Thanks in Advance.

Evan.

Hi Evan.  Don't know that I can help much but that square one on EBay is, I think, for a H series car, from what i can find on the net.  Here's a pic of the underside of my LX pot with that round pin showing. I would be surprised if it would work without it but I'm no expert. Cheers Ron

Evan, I just noticed on EBay there is a guy in Gosford that reconditions Torana and other model steering columns.  I don't know anything about him but maybe he can help with the missing parts.  Goes under the name bbbad392. Ph number listed is 0412 351253.  Good luck Ron.
