Has anyone had their original side glass & rear screen polished/repaired to remove various scratches etc?

I'd like to know what results have been achieved & is it cost effective..

Cheers

Any old school panel shop should be able to do it .

I watched my painter do one of mine . Started with a fine steel wool & then a few buffing compounds.

Took no time at all. Brilliant result.

There are various kits on Ebay for polishing glass:

I have removed light marks with cerium oxide powder, but as Ice has mentioned anything deep that you can feel with your finger nail is beyond fixing.
