I'm also thinking of putting the EWP150 on my 308. I was planning on utilizing the controller. Keen to know how you go with it on the six.
Keeping with the same thread, Davies Craig website says to go the biggest single fan possible, does any one have experience fitting a single 16" fan to a standard 308 Radiator (not sure if it will fit) If not anyone know what size twin fans will fit?
Cheers

I cant comment on the fan, but if you're utilising the controller, the EWP150 will work great... Some people choose to run the EWPs in open loop with a restrictor plate or a thermostat with a few bypass holes drilled in it, but if you do this, do not over engineer the setup as you can actually struggle to keep the engine to temp. I know of a few blokes who have not been able to get their 308 to operating temp when using big pumps like that in open loop. The controller is a very good thing and will look after all of that by helping startup warm up as well as pulsing the pump to hold the desired engine temp.
Im all for running engines cool but too cool, like 160f or lower is no good for long periods of time.. If oil cannot get to temp it can cause issues.
