After several years of pestering I sold a rough LC 2 door roller to  friend

he wanted another, has GTR LJ with 308, LJ 4 dr 202 5 speed that was past help

Plan was to transfer usable parts from 4 dr to 2 dr

Then after a lot more pestering and large amounts of money changing hands with more to come

I started working on it just over 5 years ago

hopefully it's nearing completion

scuttle panel repaired and floors replaced, Rares floor sections

rubbed back spot filled, doors boot bonnet fitted

getting ready to paint then disaster

both door gaps were too far out, 3mm at top 8mm or so at bottom

doors line up at top front and back

really pizzed off

shifted it to another shed and forgot about it

nearly 2 years later decided had to do some thing

got the mig out a spent many hours building up and grinding back

right worse so 5 times

left only 3

then bit of polly to fill dimples

great work mate, the little things definately add up to make a quality car... the small things take time but they definately make all the difference!

should point out guards were new from Rares

had trouble getting to sit right at the top level with scuttle panel at beginning to fit

bit more touching up
