Hi Guys,

What is the best way to dissolve the glue on the pivots, without damaging the glass.
I want to rechrome the pivots.

Cheers Graham.

Try some acetone, don't know if it will work but you can only try.

Tried the acetone no joy.
Does anyone have a solution out there?

You could try a little heat , maybe a heat gun , but be careful not to use too much , you don't want to use too much and crack it.most of the fittings on mine were loose anyway , once the screws have been removed a gentle tap may take it off the glass .
