Ever wondered where your old race  xu1 ever went to.

i did for many years and after extensive looking never found it and thought it had gone to the torana heaven.

well a couple of weeks ago i read a article from shannons about the may auctions and a strike me pink xu1 had gone up for the hammer and ended at $18300.00.

i just about fell over at the price and past a comment that i had one of those and sold mine in 1980 for $1500.00 as a rego roller.

after sending a rego paper to the forum they returned saying wooooooooo that is your old torana.

i am super happy to know where it is and at that sale price it will be given a home it will last for many years yet.

now i need to know where my purple lj xu1 is, it has more race history than the pink one and i still hold the photos and cams log books for it .

all i know is that is is some where in w.a..
