Hey Girls/Guys,

I have just changed my car to Historic Rego :).

When I got there I was told my customer plates agreement expires at the end of the year. Due to Historic Rego being for 12months, I had to pay for my number plates or car could not be registered. I asked if I could just pay for the plates when they were due. The answer was no. What a joke. Ray

Hmm...so you still have the custom plates in storage?

The RMS over here in NSW slug you every chance they get and the custom plates are a massive rip off (I have four sets though).

Cheers,

Liz :)

I was at nsw rms a couple of days ago and I asked the woman on the counter if they are changing the h plates to allow normal or custom plates
She said she had heard the rumour but would not say anymore
I want to get the original plates for my car and use them
I'd gladly pay the $100 per year on top of the $50 for rego

Queensland allows personalised plates on special interest or rally rego. But yeah, very limited use. Rally is events only and 15km of home...... although work is less than that they would soon do me for using it daily.
