Brett, I'm sure I have the Dealer service letter that covers the measurements of the temporary handbrake cable change. I'll have a search in the morning.
Cheers
Dave

Ok, there are two different length rear park brake cables. One has a cable casing/conduit with a length of 29.72" the other is 38.86".
I cannot find a length for the cable but should be the same for both.
It was the left hand cable that was affected by the temporary relocation of the bracket. The revised left hand cable was routed over the lower rear control arm, not through it.
The cable was retained in its revised location by strap part No. 7436769.
In relation to the cable mounting brackets circled in red and yellow in the picture below where are your brackets located?

Looks like your LC is one of the cars affected by the temporary change to the hand brake cables. You need the two short cables that you already have.
Right hand side cable should go through the lower rear control arm, as does on all LC & LJ 6cyl and your left cable has to go over the left rear lower control arm.
The cable with the longer casing is Part No. 2806983 and is the normal left hand cable for all LJ 6cyl and LC 6cyl before and after the temporary cable change.
The longer cable will be too long for your car.

Maz the cable with the longer casing/conduit will not work on his car. Anyway, the handbrake cables with the yellow sleeve shown in that pic suit 6cyl with bench seat and dashboard mounted handbrake.
