Hello Members,

 

Not able to copy links for some reason.

 

Was looking on carsales at a white LX Hatch. There is a picture of the tag. It looks like ALX000184M. Manufactured 4/76.

 

Thought that number would be 12/75 or 1/76.

The details / description says the "VIN" is ALX006064M but I agree the photo they've provided doesn't look like that at all...

Looks like Ray Charles maybe put the details up in that advert

 

Just as an FYI... my 4/76 SS is ALX007490M

 

 

They have its build date as 1/76 but the tag clearly shows 4/76 but a body # that's clearly months earlier

Its in NSW.... try to get a Mick to go with you when you go look at it.

Im not sure id put any money on what that tag says from that photo. The tag looks in good nick so a better photo or having a look in person will clear things up easy enough.

Looks like ALX 006184 M to me.

For 100K I'd want the rear hatch to line up a bit better than it looks in pictures, stuff like that makes me think there is a lot of other dodgy stuff under that shiny paint

Looks like the hatch rubber isn’t fitted properly in a couple of areas.
