I was browsing online the other day looking for photos of flared LC Torana's and came across this photo?

Does anyone have any detail on the car?

It looks like the flares on my LC shell may have been copied from this one as they are nearly identical, but I've never seen this car before or any photos of other cars with similar flares to mine.

That's Brock's Rallycross car.

It raced at Calder park & was almost unbeatable. It was a typical Harry Firth 'weapon' with engine set back, radiators in the boot, supercharger fitted & as rough as guts, only what was necessary & no more.

Go to YouTube & enter Rallycross Torana & see what comes up.

Love the passenger door alignment. :D

I'm probably wrong but I'm sure I read somewhere the Rallycross car was a GTR not an XU1.

Yeah started off as a LCGTR and Harry Firth added bits and bobs to it , supercharger , went like a cut cat .

Wouldn't have thought there would be much left of the old girl the way Brocky drove it around Catalina Park.

Apart from l34's & a9x's flares should remain in the 70's never to be seen again.

No one! Brocks Rallycross LC GTR  is believed to be dead and gone.

Thanks fellas.

I have seen photos and videos of his Rallycross car before but never with the dual wheels on it.

Cheers

It's hideous i think. The lc & lj are stylish already. Flares look good on the big torana's.

Hideous is being too kind Gary. We need a vomiting emoticon!

Parts of the Beast engine ended up on Saggy Sarah.

The Supercharger and some other bits I believe.
