Anyone else have these bushes on the backrest? They're not mentioned in the workshop manual,having trouble with the hooks engaging properly when fitted.

No not standard, my bet is somebody has put them on to stop the seat rattling.
I did the same but used some clear plastic hose.

Thanks for the reply Brian ,I'll leave them off then,the new upholstering seems to stop the hooks engaging on the pins ,could be that the springs have lost some tension too.

Got 1/2 clear brewers tube on mine.
