While I know that the bottom diff carrier to housing bolt gets a copper washer, does anyone know if the bolt to the drivers side gets one as well on a 2.78/3.08 carrier.

Yes ideally it needs something to stop the oil leaking out via the bolt, since the female threaded hole in the housing is not blind. The alternate would be to use some sealant on the thread, unlike the bottom bolt it doesn't need to double as a drain plug.

Thanks man, will fit copper washers to both and if the drivers side one leaks at all I'll apply sealant to its thread.
