Wanted,an Opel gearbox shifter return spring as pictured.Many thanks .(wanted section didn't work )

Yeah it does , not the same Johnno,has to be the right one as I think anything else will slip off the shifter mechanism.

I  had  some  of  these  made  from  a  N O S  sample .

 

I  only  have  1  left  and  i  will  not  be  getting  any  more  made .

Hey Paul, I recently fitted a vibration spring to my shifter. It took me a while to work out the noise was at the base of the shifter. Driving with my hand on the gear stick was getting to me lol. Hated not being able to drive normally. At first I applied heat grease and it worked for a little bit. Later discovered the drop point of the grease was the same as the heat created by the motor and box. I have never experienced shifter noise before. A bit of reading and realised a spring might be the way to go. Found a spring I think was from a carbie cable. Manufactured for constant use and also not to hard I had to fight it. Must say the last few weeks have been great. Now to the next little problem lol. Rainman
