Those mountings are not correct for a Holden, it's probably a Valiant unit.

Thanks for the reply Dave. Is the pulley the same as on the Holden alternators?
No. That one is the same as the early Sigma's, so it would be a Chrysler unit of some sort.
This is a NOS 3" Bosch pulley and fan.

The date code 425 on your alternator translates to May 1974 and looking at your pics the upper mounting does not look correct for a Holden.
I just spent an hour looking for how to read the date codes on Bosch products. I should look in here more often.
This code is used for most German built products.
