Hi all.  Just wanted to pass on some recent experiences.  Bought this fuel line and when I unpacked it noticed it was rusted under the fittings and inside the line.  Only appears to be surface rust but not the point.  Fortunately got my money back. Went and enquired about one from another supplier and had the same issues, as such didn't buy it.  Chrome ones may be better.

Added issue. I am running a Holley avenger with a Harrop dual plane manifold.  This type of line won't clear the manifold front runner without at least a 1/2" carby spacer.  Unfortunately the inexperienced have to buy and fit before these issues are identified sometimes. LOL. Hope this helps someone.  Cheers Ron

Avoid the Chinese stuff Cook.  Someone with a small pipe bender should be able to modify it to fit with the Harrop manifold.  I would even have a go at sticking the carby in a vice, screwing up the fittings, and gently bending the pipes with your hands using both thumbs on top.

Thanks Laurie.  These are actually Aeroflow, but I don't blame them I just think they must sit around for a while in the warehouse and pick-up condensation.  Noted about bending up the pipes.  I have seen one done and that will be my back-up if I need the space under the bonnet.  BTW how's the back shagger! Cheers Ron

Check the throttle lever also. I had to persuade mine up a touch to clear the Harrop manifold when not using a spacer.

Going off Ron's fuel line pic looks like you just need to trim both pipes back 20mm and make new double flares.

Hi gents.

Tony, yeah I was aware of that.  Just clears with the spacer but I am running a different bracket that hooks up at the top so will be able to cut off that lower section of throttle bracket.

Dave, the pic is a bit deceptive as I don't think you would be able to cut much off, if any, and still get a flaring tool in there with the fittings.  Other issue pops up if you could, as it may then foul on the electric choke/vac. advance.

I'll post up some pics  when I get a chance FWIW.  Cheers Ron

I bought one of those as well. It went into the bin at the dyno shop. Leaking all over the place. They had a braided unit which I bought. A side by side comparison showed that they are in a different league for quality. As above, junk goes in the bin.

A,flow are Chinese sourced mate. I'd be just running a nice 1/2" hard line up to a speedflow block & exit with 2 of 3/8" hard lines. I have about 5 different benders. Looks neat and does a good job. Should supply the 355 with enough juice mate. I would assume that your son would have some pipe benders Ron.

Thanks Gary.  I was/am just trying to keep it simple for me to do.  I do have some benders and will contemplate which way I go.  Cheers Ron
