Hi I have a GTR dash which has one of the gauge mounting posts missing.

Would anyone have a wrecked / broken / stuffed dash that has a good post I could use?

If I can get one I will glue on, or use another method to attach

If you have something suitable let me know

Thnx

Have to check but from memory all dash gauge units have those posts So there's plenty of them around, I have a few. Also the cut outs are marked for the ovals. So if you are really fussy you can take the inserts out cut out the ovals and glue the inserts into another dash

Ok no problems thanks let me know if you have a spare post. I will see how solid the post is once glued, I don’t have another dash to move across to, a single post should do the job.

Have one from a 4 cylinder has all the posts. How do you want me to cut post out. What length is the one missing?

The post will be 16.5mm in length, same length as the opposite side. If you really want to cut your dash up I would take the whole section and I would then grind around the post to maximize length. I think if it’s just cut off it would make it a fraction short. Either way let me know $$$

You confused me, my name is Ken

I have several others but they are standard  none gauge type . If that's what you need can check for 73 unit.

Sorry for the confusion mate, the person is hoping for a 73 gtr style fascia only, if you have a decent 1 mate. See what the other Ken says first, i will work in. Are the posts, on a standard dash ? I haven't looked at a standard dash for a long time, may just need 1 of the smaller gauge pods, i can't remember. If that's still confusing, you can pm me. Gary.

Yes all the facias have posts. The pods are removable by dissolving the glue. I have GTR type ones but may need them all for my cars. Will check
