Hi everyone ,I took this bracket off the side of the bell housing ,but it doesn't really look like the one in the workshop manual ,can anyone tell me if it's correct? Also was the rat trap mechanism cad plated or zinc plated or just painted black? ,thanks guys.

That's not standard. Most of the rest of the rat trap mechanism was painted, except the pull rod which is plated. I have photos but they're too big to post. Will try to fix tomorrow.

Yes.

Also the rat trap parts were not painted they were black phosphorous coated, exc the clutch pedal to relay lever wire rod and the metal bracket that bolts to the relay lever pivot support.

I had a thought that perhaps the Opel and M series boxes had different parts but a quick check of the LC parts manual suggests there is only one part for all 6cyl cars. 2806845.
