Hi all.  I'm trying to ascertain if the shifter should have a dust cover on the underside of the tunnel.  All I can seem to find out is that there is a seal that runs around the edge of the shifter base between the tunnel and the shifter but nothing on the underside.  Sorry, also checked on the Statesman parts cat. and only the inner seal shows up.  Here's a pic of the shifter (from another thread) that I have.  Cheers Ron

There is no second seal. The small boot under the lever itself (as in your pic) is the only seal.
