Anyone know if these are any good or junk?

Picked one up yesterday from local Holden spares, came overnight out of Melbourne parts distribution. Says made in Australia on the box. Alloy is a lot darker than the originals, but it has PBR on the body casting like the original and has PBR in the plastic lid. Only $110 so no great loss if they are junk. I was going to get the original rebuilt with stainless sleeve at $255 anyway.

This is for my HK GTS, I need the stepped bore cylinder as it is running AUII onwards calipers and HK-WB rear drums.

PBR was bought by Bosch a few years ago

So might be some older stock you have there

Nothing wrong with them.... they made the cyls for Holden Ford Mist etc... OE supplier

Thanks Datto. Will look for a date on the box.

I’ve being buying up some old stock “made in Australia” stuff for the build, plus enough spares to last me out. I’d rather pay $40 for an Aussie made PBR wheel cylinder than $10 for a Chinese one. Finding it is the problem. Same with radiator hoses, brake hoses, engine and transmission mounts etc.
