Hi All

Just want to get a feel on what people think the current general sale range for a modest to well conditioned SL, SS or A9X hatchback would be.

Running with matching number drive line vs no matching number drive line.

SL - 3.3ltr

SL - 4.2ltr

SL - 5ltr

SS - 3.3ltr

SS - 4.2ltr

SS - 5ltr

A9X - 5ltr

Dr Terry.....I sold my 2nd owner SL 3.3ltr auto back in 1986 to a buy a Subaru aarrggghhhhhh!!!! You can see it in my avatar absynth yellow with dragways.

I sold it for $4,200.

It to was straight matching number 24K on the clock when I bought it. Loved that car but for some stupid reason I sold it.

Here's a SS 3.3 just listed $75K on AMC.......looks quite tidy as well.

$75K seems up there.

Big money for a far from original car, but these things were rust buckets and lots destroyed if rust was let go, they are in demand today and the price reflects it. Perfect car to change to a 308 or injected 5L though, and it is a pre- ADR27A car too so easy to modify legally. And although it is only a 6cyl it is an SS. I wouldn't pay $75k for it, it isn't worth even half that to me, but I bet someone buys it.

Hey Yel327, I thought I read a post from yourself a while ago about 6cyl hatchbacks. Who would even bother counting how many are left ? They are in demand and the price reflects it lol. Ray

Being an SS hatch that's relatively untouched and rust free is where the value is.

How could anyone possibly count how many are left? It would be a near impossible task.
